Thank You Card

Hi All,
I attended a scrapbook retreat on the last week of April. And sat next to a friend of mine who is a Stampin' Up Rep. As I watch her create all these cute cards by stamping her images and then coloring them. I felt inspired to use my stamps in a different way. I know this is nothing new to all you stampers but here I am a crafter who does not stamp a whole lot or even had second thought as to coloring them. So I wanted to give a big shout out to one of my crafting sisters "Adriana" for getting me to think outside the box.  I made this card and it on it way to you. I hope you like it.

Your Absolutely Fabulous Card

Hi All,
I don't know about all of you but we have had some crazy weather here in Irvine. One day it's 90 degrees and then two days later it's pouring raining..... I guess I should be glad that we do not have snow storms like my friends in Minnesota.

In any case today's post is a simple card using a Hero Art rubber stamp. I know that most of you are into   purchasing cling stamps but I just love the wood block stamps.  I just wish that I had not invested so much in the cling stamps. Because over time they eventually lose their shape.

miniature brads
Martha Stewart black glitter
coffee filter
generic fuchsia ink

All You Need Is.... - Lay Out

Hey All,
Today's post is about love. Because right now this world could use more of it. What started out as a simple design has now become one of my favorite lay outs. One of my favorite colors is red. I love that red brings excitement. So all of you that love being in love, the love of your family or the love of life this post is dedicated to you.

Fish Jumping Out of Water - Lay Out

Hey All,
Today post is by Legacy Paper Art. I love the colors because they are so much fun to look at. I only did a slight modification. It was originally designed for 5 picture spaces. I decided to use 4 sizes.  I seem to be going through my page kits at a fast pace which is great. With this pace I made be able to get all my kits before end of summer just in time for the holidays. I know that may sound premature but I am going to try. TFL

Bee's Knees - Lay Out

Hey All,
This year I had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany Spaulding  co-developer of the amazing Scrap Rack system. We had a lengthy discussion of how scrap booking can be overwhelming and too many of us get caught up in all the fluff. Instead of sticking to the basics we should really focus on one project at a time (don't buy any product until it is necessary). Ain't that the truth? I felt so inspired. So I went home and spent a couple of weeks by taking my time purging and taking inventory of what I had (like most my biggest crime was having too much paper....LOL). After I reorganized I had a considerable amount of ready to assemble kits. Now I will be able to accomplish more in less time. Which brings me to this post.

This is a Legacy Paper Art kit. I love the bee die cuts so much.  I did however changed it up a bit to make it my own. I had to add some flair to fill in the gaps. I only use the bee die cuts and the background paper. The rest of the embellishments are from my stash. I added double oval matting and changed the size of the double square mats as well.

Life is Nothing.......Lay Out

Hi Everyone,
Although I was originally not a big fan of the color scheme I went another direction to make this layout  more to my liking. I want to thank Legacy Arts for the the title and sentiment. The original layout was suppose to have a variety of circles with various picture sizes. I changed that so that I would be able to use 4x6 size pictures and to highlight the individual letters. So with a slight modification voila....... a new look! TFL

Cricut Machine Cozies

Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone had a wonderful day. I want to share my dust covers that I made for my Cricut machines. I originally wanted to purchase them off the Internet but I opted out because of the availability and color patterns. Plus I wanted to practice sewing. Which I still find challenging because I am not coordinated.

I still love paper crafting more cause if cut something wrong you just embellish over it.......
